This competition is sanctioned by USA Wakeboard and the American Wakesurf Association as a grassroots event. The National Wakesurf Championship will be held concurrently with the National Wakeboard and National Cable Park Championships. The Wakesurf championship will feature practice on Friday July 31, amateur divisions on August 1st, and then open and long board divisions on August 2nd. All three National Championships will be televised for NCB Universal Sports cable. Top riders will be featured in this first of a kind television production! The National Wakesurf Championship is sponsored by Fresh Air Exhaust, Lake Wakes, The Walker Project, and 77 Marine, Centurion Boats, asylum boarz, Phase 5, Endless Break, and grassroots wakesurfers from across the country. The lodging for the National Championship, within minutes of Eastwood Lake, is available at Comfort Suites Wright Patterson (OH311), 5220 Huberville Avenue , Dayton, OH, US, 45431, Phone: (937) 425-6498 Fax: (937) 252-5724. Mark just shipped the Lake Wakes prize board. My first impression was the box. Holy cow, that's a box. It's big and well it's sturdy and really protects the board. The box was hard to open. It was taped and glued. There's more glue and cardboard in side. Maybe I'm making a big deal out of the box but I've seen other boxes that haven't held up well. The board looks great and is flawless. It looks to be a little more than an inch thick through most of the board. Plus the board is made in the U.S.A. We all need some of that now don't we?
